A team from Wayne State 's Law School participated in the National Moot Court Region VI Competition, sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Young Lawyers Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York . Cooley Law School was crowned champion of the event, sending the school's team on to New York in January for the competition's national final rounds.
